you have to remind yourself that there isn’t always a happy ending. there is no “if i try hard enough i can have whatever i want” ….nope. wrong. really, really wrong. especially with people. sometimes it doesn’t matter how happy you are with someone, it doesn’t matter what you say to them or what you try to do. sometimes you just have to walk away and hope that they care enough to come after you.
